5 Reasons To Play Final Fantasy XIV!

投稿日:

THE ABILITY TO DO EVERYTHING ON A SINGLE CHARACTER-
If you are an altaholic like me, I find this very beneficial. You can do every job on the same character. So instead of having to play through the main story every time you want to make an alt. You already did it on the character your first time through, all you have to do is equip the weapon specialized with the job you want to play. Be it your axe for your Warrior, your lance for your Dragoon or your Needle for your weaver. Now you will have to level each job up to max level. But I believe that is a benefit to keeping the players making use of the old world content and being readily available to help out new players through their journey. An additional benefit is gear sharing. You like to play multiple tank jobs or healer jobs. They can share some of the same gear so you don't have to go out entirely re gearing a job just to play it. Also in leveling your other jobs if you already leveled up a tank and still have that gear you had while leveling, your tank job you will/ currently leveling can use that gear.

THE AESTHETIC-
This game is absolutely gorgeous. Even for it being a 6 year old game 9 if you include before A Realm Reborn. Character animations—including spell and attack animations—are also superb. When firing off a Fire II spell or slamming a Paladin’s Circle of Scorn into the ground, you can really feel the impact of every spell/ability. Part of this impactful effect is due to the game’s slower global cool down, but it’s largely due to the gorgeous animations themselves. Most of the character emotes are fantastic and embody a game that’s naturally more appealing to gamers who like to role play and/or feel immersed in every motion their character makes. These superb animations can also be found within the gear acquired in the game. White Mage robes flutter in the wind. Heavy armor moves heavily and makes clunky noises as you run. Most of the coolest weapons in the game come complete with unique animations that not only depict the power of the weapon, but also its origin within the game’s lore. Also If you are ever out fishing I definitely recommend turning off the ui and just taking in some of the scenery. The team did a great job with the world over all.

THE STORY-
If you love lore and story then you will enjoy what Final Fantasy 14 has to offer. The story, depth of the the characters and characters interactions are great! If you are into jrpg and rpgs with in depth story, fleshing out character backgrounds and motivations then you have to see what this story has to offer. The cut scenes are beautiful and the character expressions and dialog really immerse you. I have had difficulty at times trying to find a stopping point to log off the game at times wanting to know what happens next. I would go ok just one more quest chain before I log off. Then is just pulls you back in and immerses you. You can also practically level your fist play through, through just the story it's self.

THE MUSIC-
For me, one of the best things about the a Final Fantasy game is the music and Final Fantasy 14 does not disappoint. It broke the Guinness Book of World Records when it reached 384 unique songs — and that was before the June 2017 Storm blood expansion. This game features some of the usual classics such as the Chocobo theme and the victory themes, but it also has a wealth of new music from some of Square Enix's best composers. I guarantee it won't disappoint. Even the sound effects are familiar. The sounds you use for your notifications have been lifted right out of previous games, such as the sound of you drawing magic in Final Fantasy VIII to the sound removing Materia makes in Final Fantasy 7. This is one of the first mmo's that I have played that I don't turn off the background music and play something else. I truly enjoy the different instrumentals that play through the cut scenes, When you mount up or go through different zones.

Community-
Final Fantasy 14 has one of the best communities I have ever been apart of. 90% of everyone is super firendly. As well as really new player friendly. willing to teach and show people the ropes if you are new to the game or even new to mmo's in general. There is hardly any toxicity. It would be a lie to say it is completely non existant. But there are so few instances of it. Most people are respectful and if you tell them you are a new player they are happy to work with you and answer any questions. But not just to new players or at the beginning stages of the game. Even if you have been playing a while and want to try harder content, people are willing to go over mechanics and help you get better at the game.
