If anyone know speedkicks you'll know that this guy complains about tekken 24/7. the shit he's saying about t8 is the same shit hes saying about t7. hes a old head that is mad that he put in all this time when could have been doing soemthing else and now all the shit he grinded for years is way easier to do and less effective.

Some pros need to understand that the world does not turn around them and there are newer players who would like to enjoy the game as much as the experienced players.

Yo this was such a nice change of pace, I'm a really big fan of content like this for fighting games I'm not too familiar with. We got like the whole Competitive Tekken Lore.

What TEKKEN 8 aiming for, for now, is an aggressive play style (like Speed said, the final was pretty boring for the audience because 2 pro players are too good, and their defenses are too tight, from the player who watches and knows the game like those 2 pros, they'll find it fascinating, but for a lower level player or some random guy who want to watch some "fighting game before he decided to jump in and try it", prob will "meh" and turn away).

And probably TEKKEN 8 aim for easier execution but rewards player for "well" execution decisions better than the distinct casual player and practiced, experienced, try-hard player, the blue Spark is a clear example. Besides that, there are Korean Back Dash, throw, knowledge check, etc, tons of things for newer players to learn and they'll probably get crushed by other players. Don't say make Korean Back Dash easier, even if they're easier, the other guys who have better footsie knowledge will still stumble over the guy who just randomly keeps backing and dashing in without any strong fundamentals of the fighting game.

And I think it's good, TEKKEN itself, in my opinion, is way harder to get in compared to Street Fighter and Mortal Kombat (I don't say that these 2 games won't take you time to master them, it'll take tons as TEKKEN does), to be honest, if a new player wants to try some fighting games, frankly, they'll most likely find these 3 games now due to media, steam, etc and will try one of them. But in TEKKEN? Movelist of hundred moves, different playstyle for just even 1 character, 3D movement, execution, combo, footsie, matchup, tons of character - that'll be more than a thousand moves, poking, break throw, grabbing, etc. The casual players probably won't even pay attention to these things, like in SF or MK, where you have like some decent amount of moves, you can probably watch some guide and they'll give you a quick 5-10 minutes guide easily, but for TEKKEN, sure they can give you some best optimize move, string and compress it down to like 20-30 best moves like SF and MK, but in TEKKEN, situation to use these move, combo, etc are way harder, just put someone play "decent" Steve, not just random smashing move or spamming, you have to learn tons of counter hit of each move, how to move properly with Steve, combo, panic move, etc, to cover that up, I don't even think 1-hour video can guide you through that.

I like that TEKKEN is trying to make it easier for people to enjoy the fighting game again, the game itself is still really hard and challenging for non-fighting game players or some casual players (For some nonfighting game examples, maybe it's not relevant but I still point out, look at ELDEN RING and other Souls series, the core of the game is still there, just like TEKKEN, but they try to make it easier for others, and still, it's fun, there were hardcore Souls fan complain, yes, but others player really have fun, it's a first time I can enjoy playing Souls-like game with my friend, and man, that was a really fun experience, and he have courage to go back to other Souls game, imagine that if ELDEN RING wasn't there, he probably won't even bother other Souls series because he said he heard other said it was way too hard), I really like that direction, don't push them away, For anyone having a hard time with life and just want a good place to have fun, the rank system is there to make anyone who wants to be better will clash each other up there, and who's more casually will still enjoy their game at a lower rank.
