I thought you might like a look at this awesome 1969 Shelby GT500. It's powered by the original 428 Cobra Jet, topped with a Holley 4 BBL carb. The owner has also added a set of Edelbrock Performer RPM aluminum heads to up the performance a bit. All that power is being sent through a close-ratio four-speed manual transmission, back to a 9 inch rear. It's riding on the special 15 x 7 Shelby wheels, with cast aluminum centers. Up front, you'll notice the unique fiberglass hood, with NACA ducts to let in cool outside air. The car is painted in the original Pastel Gray, though it shows white, with blue striping. On the inside, you'll find a deluxe black vinyl interior, with plenty of Shelby badging of course. It also has nice set of gauges, including a 140 mph speedometer, and an 8,000 RPM tach.
