The Thirukkuṟaḷ is written by the great Thiruvalluvar. (Tamil: திருக்குறள்) Thirukkuṟaḷ also shortly called as the Kural, is a classic Tamil language text consisting of 1,330 short couplets, or kurals. It has three divisions as virtue (aram), wealth (porul) and love (inbam), respectively.
