On Sunday the 21st of May 2023, I visited the Weka Pass Railway in North Canterbury. The locomotive running was A 428 built in 1909 by A & G Price of Thames. Two trips were made between Glenmark Station at Waipara and Waikari Station. I rode on the morning trip and chased the afternoon trip, seeing the train at the iconic Frog Rock. A big thanks to the WPR crew for making it a memorable day.
