Sunday morning was spent catching the MTR from Tung Chunk to Kowloon station, to visit Sky100 Observation Deck.
Sky100 is a 360-degree indoor observation deck, which offers views of Hong Kong Island, Victoria Harbour, the Kowloon Peninsula and Tai Mo Shan. At 393 metres above sea level, it is the only indoor observation deck in Hong Kong offering amazing views of the territory and its famous Harbour.
The high speed elevators, reach the 100th floor in just 60 seconds.
With the weather starting to close in it was a quick MTR ride to Hong Kong Station, then walked to Central Station via the underground connector before walking through the city to Peak Tram Terminus.
The Peak Tram is a funicular railway in Hong Kong, which carries both tourists and residents to the upper levels of Hong Kong Island. The views on the way up are truly amazing.
Once up the top, it was a quick walk up several escalators to the Sky Terrace 428.
Sky Terrace 428 on top of the Peak Tower on Victoria Gap at the Victoria Peak, stands at 428 metres above sea level, is the highest viewing platform in Hong Kong.
It wasn't long before we were ushered back inside due to a severe storm, with a lot of lightning activity.
Needless to say, once the rain started it was torrential.
Once back down in Hong Kong it was a staggered journey back to the MTR station, trying not to get too wet, but also enjoying the skyscrapers which surrounded me.
Whilst the weather did not end up being good, I got most of what I planned to do, done... so back to the hotel I went.
