Yeah, i had to use 2 leyline stones too for the same reason actually, because i was at the last layer of health and don't want to redo the whole fight.

You could use overcharge ces and get Castoria to 500% charge with triple np so you can take Cern's hits while being skill sealed.

You know Honako green the f2p master Quincs? I use his f2p comps to fight Cernunnous and yeah it works even though i need use 1 leyline since im not a pro like Honako green.

Btw in 5:12 here Castoria literally like Fujimaru romantic/platonic way and this scene here is one of Where there are servants or friend of Fujimaru who likes/love him canonlly.

The developers went hard when they made Cerunnons. The RNG made it so frustrating. Add on the AOE berserker, plus side effects from the curse, you have a recipe for disaster.
And that final bar is just : ( . When I got to it, and I saw 500k+ Remaining hp with all the curses restored, I almost threw my phone.

Also, if you listen to the Cerunnos battle ost, it is the remix of another character's theme that we have heard from LB6, and there is good reason for it, if you can put it together. Though I don't think the story outright says it.

I know you mentioned you're not the best player and more of a casual for FGO in a previous video. I'd also consider myself the same. Just a word of recommendation for this boss.
1) Van Gohg is not good for this boss since he will take too much curse damage. She doesn't have a method to heal herself.
2) Castoria NP should be used as your last attack on a chain in order to prevent all curse for that turn (unless there is an extra attack)
3) Debuff resist is also good for this boss for a dps so they don't just die.
4) If you read his skills. The last bar in particular. You need to hit the boss to take off curse layers before using damage NP. Each curse layer reduces damage he takes. So for instance you would hit him with 2 attack cards and then NP if you want the NP to deal damage. The final bar actually isn't are difficult as you think if you know understand what you need to do.
5) You did make many stupid mistakes and we all do, but as long as you learn from them. Just take some time to stay calm and then think of a way around the mechanics.

It took me a few tries to clear this boss without leylines (because rng of boss move set and the buffs you get can really trip you up). But after reading all the skills of the boss, I figured that foreigners aren't the best way to beat it. Rather damage modifiers from damage dealers increase damage a lot more or characters that are immune to debuffs/curse make really good damage dealers. I ended up beating him with Ozy (np2) and a bunch of supports. Though no multiplier from himself, his raw damage and np seal with Castoria's threat against humanity multiplier really did the trick.

On youtube, sadly you'll mostly watch people clear it with like np5 lvl 120 dps servant or full MLB paid CE, which make them feel unhelpful. But the methods they use can prove to be helpful to clear if you are willing to use 1 or 2 leylines.
