I should go back and play Z's story mode now that I have a bit more of a grasp of Japanese. I enjoyed that there were little bits of storyline branching based not only on dialogue choices, but on winning when you're supposed to lose historically. Like I somehow recall that actually beating Naoya Ogawa as Shinya Hashimoto changed things slightly, for example.

  Michael L. I wanna go back to Fire Pro Wrestling Z's story mode, and I enjoyed this story mode on this Fire Pro Z game and I loved it, and in my opinion, Fire Pro Wrestling Z had the best story mode than Fire Pro Wrestling G!

Firepro Z was the previous game with the free dreamcast dlc in it, without the illegally licensed wrestlers in it......one of my favorite titles, be it that returns Creation menu was a tad much to navigate through...playing through victory road now with 150 fighters defeated

z sucked because of the squashed sprites. also maybe hard to explain but they went a new route away from G in terms of the match flow. in G matches frequently required several successive powerful moves to be put away. Z if i recall correctly totally erased that and made it lame. Returns was somewhere in between

FUCK you, how fucking dare you say that Z sucked, Z is not that bad, it's great because Z has better sprites and better graphics, and Z has a better Story Mode, which is way better than G, so fuck you asshole! Also G and Returns sucked because of the sounds of the mat and it has and Returns had no WWE wrestlers!

Also in my opinion, I think Fire Pro Wrestling D and Fire Pro Wrestling Z are better than Fire Pro Wrestling Returns, because D and Z has more American wrestlers such as Sting, Steve Corino, Low Ki, Tom Howard, The Predator, Goldberg, Chris Jericho, Chris Benoit, The Rock, Steve Austin, and Returns doesn't, although AJ Styles, Brian Kendrick and Petey Williams are in Fire Pro Returns, etc. Although Shinsuke Nakamura actually made his first video game appearance in Fire Pro Wrestling Z, but his second video game appearance is in King of Colosseum II.

  Stitches Cousin Exactly! Also, I've brought Fire Pro Z last year on eBay, and I played it and it was really good, and not to mention that Fire Pro Z has the better Story Mode than Fire Pro G!

I gotta be honest, I loved Fire Pro Wrestling Z's story mode and it was amazing, you can either play as Mitsuharu Misawa, Keiji Mutoh, Shinya Hashimoto, or Masahiro Chono, and then you can relieve their story paths and in my opinion, Fire Pro Z's story is better than Fire Pro G's story mode, also there's the best roster in Fire Pro Z which has ZERO-ONE and other promotions!

I prefer the story mode in G, which allowed you to creat a wrestler and work your way up from the dojo to stardom.
