If you own a Dreamcast and love wrestling this game has to be in you collection. This videos shows off a full tag match and an electrified cage match complete with exploding cage.   We don't currently have access to a copy of Fire Pro Returns, but we do have Z and have looked at trying to get a hold of Returns for some time now. So returns got an English release and uses the same system and engine as D but has more content like more moves available for wrestlers. However, it lacks, WWE & WCW rosters and you're also going to need a multitap for four players on the PS2. Returns also lacks the arcade mode / victory road from the Dreamcast version, but the added content means you can create your own arcade mode by trying to beat every wrestler under CPU control.
  
  Returns is the better game content wise but you will have to spend hours creating you favourite WWE / WWF Wrestlers. If you want a pre-built WWE / WCW roster from the later 90s and early 00s then FPD is the better option as long as you don't mind navigating Japanese menus. That said if you want wrestlers from the current era you are going to have to make then yourself in both games.
  
  Returns is available on PS3 over PSN in the USA so it's easy to pick up if you've got a PS3. In Europe Fire Pro Returns was released by the notorious 505 Street and got a limited print run making it rather hard to find. On balance Returns is the way to go if you have a PlayStation 2 or 3 these days, if you only have a Dreamcast then D is still your best bet.

Oops so the trouble with digging up old save files from 15 years ago, is as a co-worker of one team member pointed out you don't remember any mistakes made. Bert Hart for example must be a time travelling wrestler from the future who wears the same colours as the iconic Bret Hart. We will fix the file if we ever video Fire Pro Wrestling D again and perhaps updated all the names to English next time.

  A quick look at the release date of the game should answer your question, Fire Pro D was released in March 2001 and Pro Wrestling Zero1 had only just been created in January 2001, at that time they would have been just starting out, while Fire Pro D would have been finishing in development.

  Both were later games, so you expect them to include more wrestling leagues, that reminded the team we don't yet have a copy of Return on PS2 just yet. We do have access to Fire Pro Z and at some point that will be getting a video, if you like wrestling then check out Giant Gram 2000, it's a decent Sega Arcade title: https://youtu.be/AAkut0URkJw
  
  WWF Royal Rumble on Dreamcast was also very enjoyable and is another title we should get round to doing a capture of in the future.
