Today's game is special. Honestly? I've probably played more Fire Pro Wrestling Returns for the PS2 than every single other game in the Kimblitz combined. I love this game quite a lot...and it's been requested to hell. So it's time - the greatest wrestling game ever is finally here, and up for review! Enjoy!

Did you know that 505 Games published the PAL version of this game in 2008, except that like with most of the games they've published, they ONLY released this game in very select PAL countries, which for this game, include Italy (The country where 505 Games are based in), Spain and Portugal, and that the game was never planned to be released in Germany as it was never submitted for rating to the USK unlike previous 505 Games, which were and somehow still never got released in Germany although only a few of them did, and that due to it being only released in the aforementioned select PAL countries resulted in very low print runs, which has resulted into the PAL version becoming one of the absolute rarest games ever on the PS2, and that 505 Games have been one of the worst companies of all time just for these practices alone?

  And also, I'm so happy to say that FPW has been released worldwide on Steam, except it is currently in Early Access, so it does feel unfinished ATM, as it also has a few bugs and is missing some features like promotion logos on mats, which of course will be fixed and added later on. As a German myself, this was finally a FPW game that we all Germans like me can play, especially since it's also on PC, which is also a huge plus for me, and it even plays great on my PC. So forget FPR. If you live in one of the PAL regions like Germany for example in where you were disappointed for the fact that FPR never saw the light of day in where you live, except that it only saw the light of day in the very select PAL countries I mentioned because of 505 Games' poor publishing and handling, you might aswell change your mind with FPW. It's a game that you can play and have alot of great times with.

As for Fire Pro D on Dreamcast I was able to get hold the import from my local import videogaming shop but I did have problems with doing successful moves against the computer. Honestly, that game and the Japanese version of Phoenix Wright 1 for the DS are the only import games that I own.

i like how u showed the roster already modded. i have to disagree and say firepro d is the best version ever. i do not think its close but it is all subjective and for the sake of argument i have played hundreds of hours of fpd and dozens of hours on other fp games. BEST WRESTLING SERIES OF ALL TIME NO COMPETITION!!

I remember a simming league where people didnt allow to much ground and pound. Strike moves can be super effective !

I love this game, but it has one flaw in that there is mode to book for a federation, but you can only use the included wrestlers - no CAW's. Such a wasted opportunity.
