5/5/2013 REDEMPTION 2013 PPV MAIN EVENT: All-Time Fire Pro Wrestling World Championship match up between "Nature Boy" Ric Flair (NWA era) and Mitsuharu Misawa (AJPW era)
After weeks of Flair "earning" his shot at the title, he finally gets his chance against Misawa.
Before the match, a backstage interview with Ric Flair and The Horsemen is shown. "Mean" Gene asks Flair what he has done to prepare himself for the title match with Misawa tonight. Flair looks at Gene as though he's crazy and goes on a diatribe...
"Prepared? Have you been dropped on your bald head Gene? Where have you been the last few weeks? All the Nature Boy has been doing is preparing for his rightful shot at the World Title. Misawa wanted to put Ric Flair through the ringer and make him "earn" his shot???? Brother, I'M THE NATURE BOY, and I'm the best in the world. I beat every single wrestler you put in front of me, I moved up the Power Rank, and I EARNED my shot... and now there is nothing you can do about it."
"To be the man, you've got to beat the man... and Misawa, I'm going to beat you within an inch of your life tonight and become the World Champion. WOOOOOOHHHHH!"
The rest of the Horsemen pat Ric on the shoulders and get him ready for his match which is coming up next...
