Is Renethal being a 3 mana 3/5 lowered to 35/35 for his effect too severe of a change?

It is my humble opinion that Theotar should NEVER be functionally changed. Tweak the cost, sure. Tweak the stats, sure. But the moment he gets functionally changed, kills from hand are going to destroy the meta.

Very disappointed to see they went with the lazy change for Theotar. I don't see 1 mana making much of a difference. He will continue to cause a lot of grief. The writing on the wall is pretty clear. I hope they at least learned their lesson that precise disruption like that offered by Theotar should be avoided. Dirty Rat, Savory Delight and Mutanus are better examples to go by going forward.

I'm not sure what they mean by ''something fun'' but I've stopped playing Hearthstone because of the constant, unfun, power creep.
Cards are so ridiculously overtuned now that most games feel extremely frustrating to play and Theotar is easily the most frustrating card out of CN. I understand why people say you need disruption, it's dumb to insta lose as a control deck to a combo deck, but Theotar is too much.
Mutanus is fine, I think a reverse Finley would be fine (throw your opponent's hand in their deck if you know they have good stuff in there), but fuck Theotar. He's not just disruption, he removes someone's wincon AND gives it to someone else. Like too many cards now, Theo is far too swingy. I am done playing a game that so consistently makes me feel helpess in the face of RNG.
It's pointless to go on the forums so here's hoping I'll accomplish something by sharing my opinion with someone that might actually care and actually has a voice.
Also thanks for the content, as always, great to watch.

A shame that Theotar didn’t go to 6 Cost, at 5 you can still play him and the Quest Reward on the same turn.

However it’s still better than 4, you could play Disruption and board removal on the same turn.

I hate that Druid doesn’t get affected by this because of Guff…. Who made that card !?
