Overwatch's huge power creep nerf is now live! This patch is designed to reduce the speed and amount of healing + damage, this could well be a patch designed to lean into Overwatch 2, by slowing down the game and allowing for other balance changes in future before Overwatch 2 launches. Healing is heavily nerfed. Ana, Moira and Baptiste see huge nerfs to healing output. Damage is also nerfed. McCree, Widowmaker and AShe she HUGE nerfs to potential damage output. Symmetra and Pharah also see nerfs to damage output. Beam damage is now less effective against armor meaning tanks will survive longer against zarya and symmetra. This is a huge patch for Overwatch - a patch that will have implications leading up to Overwatch 2.
