Redshell. Top 500 Lucio Player, who's publically loved on YouTube for the undeniable quality in his content. However, what most don't know about, or have a hazy memory on, are the Redshell Allegations that arose throughout Summer of 2020.

Hopefully by publishing this story to YouTube for the first time, this will also help and comfort the victims involved, as well as any possible future victims!

I already knew about the information however redshell is just too funny not to like man. I get he did bad things but bad people can change and tbh its not right to hate someone eternally based upon what they did.

Hmm. I came into this video a big fan of RedShell. I still am. I also am still a fan of your videos. But I wanna share my opinion.

If everything RedShell did was LEGAL (apart from the pics Reignz sent), then I think it’s kinda just up to each individual to decide whether they want to support RedShell and watch his content based off their own moral standards. I think it’s a bit stupid to not watch someone’s content because you don’t agree with their personal life choices, but if that’s what people wanna do then sure. But, I think outright stating it’s “wrong” is more so pushing your own morals on other people. I’m 22. Would I get with a 17 y/o? No. Is it legal in the UK? Yeah. Would I care if another 22 y/o got with a 17 y/o? Nah. If they are both consensual and it’s legal I don’t give a shit. I think that’s one of the main problems in this situation, that people give too much of a shit about stuff that has nothing to do with them. You don’t agree with something? Fine, just don’t try and make out that your morals are “right” and others are wrong.
Secondly, on the point of RS receiving pics from Reignz. I actually didn’t know it was illegal to send pics if you’re under 18, regardless of age of consent. Yeah, it makes sense but I have never once thought about it, and if someone who was 22 told me their 17 y/o GF sent them pics, I wouldn’t bat an eyelid as legally, they can have sex. Now whether RS knew this or not I can’t say, but if he didn’t then I can say for sure I stand with him. If he did know it was illegal then I’d be concerned, but I wouldn’t stop watching his content because, again, I don’t really give much of a shit. I think there’s a fine line between what RS has been involved in, and what would outright be classed as Illegal. I feel like in this situation, the court of public opinion (Twitter) has seen the name RedShell and the number 17, and has basically insta-cancelled him. I feel like he shouldn’t be “punished” for this situation persè, but if people wanna stop watching him because of it then sure.

On a final note, I was skeptical when I saw you post the poll for this. I didn’t want this channel to cover “drama”, as I like your OW vids, but hate drama channels because of all the misinformation and gaslighting. I feel like this was a good video for information (maybe slightly biased, which I respect your view on it, but I dislike “informative” videos that have bias) but I wish someone else had covered it instead of you. Don’t get me wrong, I think you did a good job, but I wouldn’t wanna see more of these from you, or at least not on this channel. (Maybe start a channel specifically for this kind of thing?). I’ll still support you both I suppose, but I feel like everyone should just kinda chill out on the accusations.

  With your last paragraph, pause and read the comment from Jacob Berrick at 14:30-14:40 of the video, who raised a v similar concern that you did, and I hope that clarifies more abt my intentions for doing this video specifically, and that I'm not leaving the old content I did behind (Fully, atleast).
  
  I think a significant bit of your opinion that you're missing out is not what Redshell did, but how Redshell responded, and what Redshell didn't do.
  
  You're right, with Reignz, he may not have known, he may have - We'll never know. But surely we can both agree that it would've been way more respectful if Redshell just said 'Sorry guys/Sorry Reignz, I didn't know the age had to be 18 for pics specifically, instead of 17. This'll never happen again.' instead of double downing and lying constantly. That's what really gets it for me atleast, because like I said at the end of the Reignz section, if she was one year older, none of this drama would've happened.
  
  I think it's also *slightly* strawman like from 22 and 17, from 22 and 16. Proportionally, the amount of development from 16 to 17, is higher than from 21 to 22. Despite that slight nitpick though, you're right that it just depends on moral compass. It'd be completely legal in the UK. So some would be fine with the age gap, some wouldn't be, which is kinda why I leave it up for the viewer to decide in Part 5, more specifically with choosing to watch Redshell or not, because this is nowhere near an ED*445 situation (I'm using an asterisk in case Google has automatically blocked his name from comments lol) but yeah I think your stance on it is reasonable.

I stopped playing overwatch since mercys rework and only got back into it because of redshell. I watched him on twitch (not a huge twitch viewer) and found it entertaining, but the amount of effort his editor(s) do are amazing and is the only consistent non educational overwatch channel I've ever watched. I'm still going to watch redshell, cause I find the channel very funny and entertaining and while I dislike all the stuff that he's supposedly done in this video, it doesn't compare to how bad the smash scene(mainly ultimate) was.

I have watched Redshell consistently for a long time and like many others I had no idea that any of this had occurred! The way you presented the facts in the video was very helpful and I feel as though bcs the case got so messy many viewers of redshell have only been presented with his funny side/ the personality he chooses to present, taking it a step further with his battle with cancer this past year and therefore the empathy we all felt for him as a result. With the examples you gave with Sinatraa for example shows that sadly it is seems to be a more common theme for online personalities and Redshell seems to be another name in that list. Bcs images are so easily shared across different social platforms it's often so hard to prove definitive evidence, another reason why I feel it has been easier for him to dismiss. Ultimately it is sad to hear this about a content creator who has made me laugh in tough times for everyone in the last few years.

Thanks for making this video, i think this is very important to raise awareness, or just talk about it.
Now I want to talk about what you said about morality and law. You consider that things can be legal but moraly reprehensible. I think that the law is actually following the same line as the morality. This is why in some countries, it is acceptable to have sex with a 13, both in the laws and in the minds. If you live in an occidental country, you have an occidental morality which is completely different from oriental morality. If you judge japan using an occidental morality, you will think it is disgusting. But all you can do is cry, because Japan is not gonna change its law for you. And it's the same for Redshell: in his country 16 is the age of consent, you have to deal with it (hypothetical you, no offense).
But then you said that having naked pics of underaged girls was illegal in california, that changes everything, because Redshell was actually against the law. But once again, i must defend him. If having SEXUAL INTERCOURSE with someone is allowed at 16, as Redshell I would think sending pics online is allowed, and I wouldn't check the law. You checked the law, and you pointed that it is illegal, but this is very easy to do after it occured, in a video that is talking about it. When the morality line and the law is blurry, it is hard to judge if someone is guilty.
Now it doesn't mean i agree with Japan's law. I think it is completely disgusting. In my country ( France ), it's 15 and i think it should be a little higher. I also think Redshell is probably a liar or a disgusting dude. But it is the job of the justice to punish him, not people on the internet. This is why when he said that 16 and 20 is okay, well...yes. It's ok in my opinion, this is why i kind of want to defend him, because it is completely okay to say this in his country. Eskay and Frogger can disagree, there is no point exposing him for that, it's LEGAL.

Just saying if this was a true thing there would be a lot more on it. It shows that this guy needs content as he’s running out of ideas so needs to have a good title to boost his trash YouTube. He’s bias and a discord with the same name doesn’t mean anything unless it’s physically got his exact account with proof. Once again this sort of thing would be a lot more issues with police if it was real. And also saying it’s convenient to miss messages about being 16 not really if you’ve seen how many chats go on in there. Also someone saying bye doesn’t mean he’s ending stream the person watching could be going? You really are a sad child that needs to try bringing down other people to boost themselves in life and try make some money off here instead of getting a job like a actual human. Get out of your parents house.
