Sojourn is just a better Soldier 76 and it's dumb. Only reason they made her that good is because Soldier is just a gay white guy but she's Black and female so she gets 2 diversity points where he only gets 1 so she gets to be the better hero. I hate Blizzard. Until Soldier and her are on the same level, no amount of nerfs will be enough. She basically replaced him. Idk why they keep Soldier in the game when they make a stronger version of him with a similar name. Just replace the entire hero if you're gonna make them so similar yet so skewed in viability. Like, has anyone even picked him once in high ranks in OW2 comp? Why would you? A measly self heal? That's all he has that she doesn't have but better and the heal isn't even that much, especially when Sojourn's get constant healer pockets. Basically gives them a healing passive that surpasses Soldier's limited healing cooldown in every way. He should get a shield and increased sprint speed and lower rocket cooldown just so he can compete. His pick rate has to be under 2% for all DPS players in the past few months solely because of her. I used to think Bastion was a better Soldier in OW1 because he could go turret mode and the self repair was more useful than the healing circle but at least soldier had a rocket and sprinting unlike Bastion. Sojourn has a long slide with a jump so rocket jumping is now useless. His rocket is severely outclassed by the railshot especially since you can build it so fast instead of waiting for a cooldown. Her ult is just nuts while his is just guaranteed bodyshots which is useless if your aim is already good enough to hit consistent headshots instead. Just wish they'd actually nerf her already instead of just slightly tweaking her. It'd be worth Hog getting nerfed just for her to no longer be the most meta character in the game for absolutely no reason and basically replace a whole other character who used to fit that hitscan assault rifle role. I hate modern Blizzard. Every game of theirs has gone to shit besides WoW classic and that's because it's just a fucking remake of a game from the past before they turned to shit and started pumping out garbage
