Every meta we've seen in Overwatch has had some dominant strategies that can come to oppressive. Let's face it, we all want more variety right? Well, Jayne has put a solution to the test, running Pick Up Games with Semi-Pro players where heroes are banned, one per team. Should pro play do this? Well, when you see the effects of this being the format, the diversity of gameplay it produces is hard to argue against. Jayne will be running a LIVE patch standard format tournament this SATURDAY Dec 1st, but future tournaments will feature hero bans, protects etc to see what a high level of competition does with these innovative limitations.
