Winter Wonderland is HERE! Starting next week Tuesday Dec 11th we'll get our hands on a host of new legendary skins for the Overwatch Heroes and today was announced the first teaser, for a Zarya Snowboarder skin. Along with the event will come a sizable balance patch that will readjust McCree Doomfist Bastion Torbjorn and most controversially, Brigitte. Who although is getting a net nerf with her shield bash damage going down greatly, is getting a big gain in sustain as she not longer can bash a mirror counterpart when GOATS comp is mirrored. Of course, this is a weird way to explain GOATS getting buffed, as it's only in the mirror match, but mirrors are incredibly important to high level play (if not boring) and may in fact put us into a WORSE meta than the one we have now, turning GOATS from a high intensity ultimate combo fest, into something far more defensively minded. However, there may be an opening for really strong solo tank players to now sustain the frontline in a 3dps comp with little help for the main tank seeing as it IS so much more defensively minded... If so, you could poke until you win as long as your main tank can play keep away from the now nerfed offense of GOATS... It will be difficult to know for sure, but I assume that is the direction that the Blizzard developers were going with implementing this change.
