So, a question in a forum, sparked my interest. Should I throw away *10 for crafted *8?
I'll try showing damage range for un-crafted *10 (100 points less R-Atk) vs crafted *8. Same latent. Try to look at the damage after I broke the claw (2nd Messiah Time). So, it's most likely head shots and full gear.
The test is using R-Atk Build with both weapons (1st part), and ZRC build with both weapons (2nd part). So, it can give you estimation if *10 still worth keeping or not ^^;
Oh right, there might be a lower critical damage. It should be the damage done to Gulfur =="

Part 1 - R-Atk build (Fury Critical lv 10)
1.1 - Yashminkov9000 (R-Atk 60, 50 Light, Lv 3 Zero Effort) - not crafted - 2098 Total R-Atk total
Damage range is around
Minimum : 7185 (from what I've seen, can be lower)
Maximum : 7450 (critical)
1.2 - Yashminkov2000H (R-Atk 45, 50 Light, Lv 3 Zero Effort) - crafted, ExLv 5 - 2199 R-Atk total
Damage range is around
Minimum - 6017 (from what I've seen, can be lower, but should be higher than ZRC build)
Maximum - 7975 (critical)
Part 2 - Critical build (ZRC build + Fury Critical Lv 10)
2.1 - Yashminkov9000 (R-Atk 60, 50 light, Lv 3 Zero Effort) - non-crafted - 2045 R-Atk total
Damage range is around
Minimum : 7096 (from what I've seen, can be lower)
Maximum : 7276 (critical)
2.2 - Yashminkov2000H (R-Atk 45, 50 light, Lv 3 Zero Effort) - crafted, ExLv 5 - 2146 R-Atk total
Damage range is around
Minimum : 5769 (from what I've seen, can be lower)
Maximum : 7800 (critical).
But, since the critical rate is high (see the amount of critical hits), it seems crafted weapon is better for Gunner with ZRC build. Or other class with high critical rate.
Well, I don't have the Brauvint to test it, but it's most likely be much better, especially when using non-critical build.
It seems critical build is much more suited with crafted weapon, since the damage range of crafted weapon .... well, kinda far ^^;
Or, you can try your luck and use R-Atk build for crafted weapon ^^; If you're lucky, the rng might throw you better dps than non-crafted weapon ^^;
