New headline has been released with new information about slayer, Slayer is confirmed to be a Ranged Potency Class. So there won't be any hybrid builds as of yet.
I've covered the skill tree to the best to my ability with speculations. but Slayer is a very Critical Heavy Class. and Looks very fun to play!
