Street Fighter 6 is finally a good family-party game to better help sell and sustain its sales.

The FGC will probably bitch about it, but actual families and house parties they'll hold will be the reason SF6 will be better supported and funded for future updates.

I feel like dynamic controls would get boring in 30 minutes tops, since it looks like the player has little agency about what his character is doing. Modern controls seems like the best balance between ease of use and flexibility for new players.

  Right, but it shows cool things can happen. Then, you see modern, which has more agency and allows them to get a taste for control and doing cool shit yourself, and then classic has full control. It's like a tricycle, then bicycle with training wheels, then fully free bicycle

This is so fucking great they're elaborating on this.

I have friends that play Street Fighter as a drinking game, so this is definitely the type of appeal to have more people purchasing the game.
(It also explains why DBFZ also has LLL combos, to appeal to the wider fanbase, although its frowned upon online, lol)

This is gonna do de opposite of what they want , people are gonna learn even less and gonna left the game as soon as that is no longer allowed, I just hope that the "modern" ones are also very un optimal choice so people that actually wanna play don't have to deal with them past the bottom ranks.

the accessibility thing is in itself a compromise that at best is not going to do anything and at worse just breaks the game I am not saying that the game need to be obscure or overly complicated but adding autopilot or loosing depth sounds more of a committee order that anything else, people should realize already that a good tutorial, things like combo training and good challenge mode are the only things that developers can do about that the rest is more about the player willingness or lack of it plus like with every other competitive game is easier to get into it when is new but the same people that are complaining about getting stomp online are the ones waiting until the game is 2 years old and the only people left are really dedicated players, so that is on them, people just need to accept that FG in general are a niche genre and the cycles that come with that are unavoidable other wise we are gonna end up with a bunch of shallow games that die even faster as soon as the hype dies down, like DNF and Cross tag battle or shallow games that only live by the IP like multy versus or DBZfighters.
