Operations | Montpellier unveil €150m new stadium plans
Montpellier have revealed plans for their new stadium. The project, which will see Montpellier leave their current 32,900-capacity Stade de la Mosson, will have a total cost of €200m. An arena is also being developed on the site to host the city’s handball and basketball clubs, as well as a 20,000-square metre retail space to include a casino.

Brazilian soccer legend Ronaldinho has announced his own esports strategy, including the release of a personalised cryptocurrency. The Ronaldinho Soccer Coin has been developed alongside World Soccer Coin, a Malta-based company, and is now in the initial coin offering phase with 350 million RSCs made available for consumers to purchase.

A basketball training app that uses artificial intelligence technologies to record, track and chart shots in real time has closed a $4 million seed round that includes Dallas Mavericks owner Mark Cuban, eight-time NBA All-Star Steve Nash, current NBA player Jeremy Lin and former Philadelphia 76ers general manager Sam Hinkie as investors.
