Sunny days after winter storms are great for going for walks in the forests of Mount Rainier. However, even winter sunshine can cause snow to quickly fall from tree branches. Snow can be both beautiful as it drifts down through the branches - and chilly when it falls down the back of your neck!
NPS Video, filmed 2/15/18 in Longmire. Description: Snow falls off of tree branches and drifts down through weak sunlight. Three people walk down a snowy road.
