[Azur Lane] Vacation Line 1st EX Clear Guide/ Nyotengu Boss Battle/ Dead or Alive x Azur Lane collab

This video serves as a brief explanation of the general taxtics that the potential viewer should utilize in order to clear the corresponding EX-stage of the Vacation Lane collaboration event. The guide explains which types of planes or battleships' main guns are more preferable against the boss, what the fleet composition should look like and how to minimize the incoming damage towards the frontline on the majority of the encounter.

While I talked about the armour type of the boss and about the need to choose an equipment accordingly, it won't hard to add a few more things. First of all, semi-armour-piercing ammunition does the largest amount of damage to a medium-armoured enemy, in the meantime being not as reliable and precise as the regular AP, and, because the HP of this boss isn't really that high, the player can freely choose the regular armour-piercing ammo. Moreover, it doesn't matter which type of converging torpedoes from torpedo bombers will be used for the same reasons: Nyotengu doesn't move a lot and can't be called fast enough to dodge all of them, regardless of the converging pattern. And lastly, torpedo-focused frontline ships won't be effective against this boss even with the magnetic tubes, because the shields, which block the damage from the torpedoes, can last to the end of the battle and do not have any cooldown timer, making this type of armament almost completely useless.

Although this wasn't said in the video, evasion mechanics are not present in the EX stages, which makes Improved Hydraulic Rudder and other equipment with the same purpose useless. If you want to maximize the survivability of your Vanguard line, just substitute them for a Little Beaver Squadron Tag, Eagle Union Elite Damage Control or something that gives a conditional ship more HP.

This should be noted, that this EX stage in particular no longer has a score mechanic due to EX 2 being introduced with the rerun, by doing so allowing the player to use whichever equipment they want without an urge to maximize the final score by reducing the amount of guns and auxiliaries on the ships.
