This is what you're supposed to do with this thing, right?
There was a conversation in guild chat about how cool the wing phase of the magna dark Vaseraga setup for Lucilius solo is, where Nier puts 2 on Black Knight and BK puts 4 on MC to make the other three frontline members also effectively invincible for a few turns. Vaseraga's not really practical here, but the rest of that frontline can get it done.
Nier having a hostility EMP and taking basically no damage makes her a nice damage sponge against Beelzebub's random target autos, and her personal damage isn't bad either, especially once stacks dwindle a bit. As long as MC can ougi once per autorevive cycle, she'll stick around.
Getting that to happen isn't automatic, though. Ideally, MC has an ougi ready for the first or second turn after Nier dies on each loop, which gives maximum time to have another ougi ready in time in case of emergencies like needing to guard or to allow Nier to use her 2/3 freely. If that's not the case, though, it's often safer to not use her skills for an extra bit of uptime. In the event that MC has an ougi ready early, the extra autorevive can be put to use with a Death call, but debuffing the team with no healing can be a bit questionable.
Setup for 50% needs some planning. Attacking to reapply autorevive during Langelaan isn't really ideal, so Nier wants to go in with either autorevive or a fresh stack and high meter on MC so that she can get another autorevive up in time.
It'd be nice if Nier had a stronger form of hostility up; +10 is only a 40% chance of being targeted during downtime on Tanya's 3. She'd be pretty much impossible to kill anyway, so a real hostility button could result in her being able soak Trance 3 autos after 50%.
Maybe there's something obvious I'm overlooking, but Nier's domain seems like downside; it'd make stacking Pain of Death's permanent buff gated by pressing Death on cooldown instead of picking one up every few turns .
