  The new axe is basically core for all dark. Magna, primal, enmity, stamina, skill damage, CA, etc.
  
  It's basically to dark what Wamdus Cynocite is to water. Except better.
  
  Edit: Hell, you don't even need to bar it. The skills it gets at 0* have no ranks so it still gives most of it's benefits at 0*. Only thing you get with bars is skill damage cap up. Which is still good and definitely worth it. But isn't required if you're strapped.
