I have been playing Pokemon go extensively for the past 18 months.
In that time, I have had one single solitary goal, to catch em' all.
And as of today, I have done just that. I have all 538 currently available species released in the game (so far), and thought I would share a video as proof of this so the rest of you could see what a complete Nov 2019 Dex looks like.
This video is a complete collection of the standard Pokedex. This is not a complete Shiny Dex or a Dex of every spinda/unnown, but it has every regular pokemon entry included and all alternate non-gender forms that are in the game right now.
I am not a shiny collector, but I did show any shinies/alternate forms I have dexed in the game so far (including 2 glitches shown in the Pokedex that are still unreleased).
Gen 1 and 2 are complete.

My account does not spoof. All species I didn't catch, evolve, or hatch personally were achieved solely through community trades with fellow raiders, convention friends, facebook friends, and local community discord members, some of which I had to go to great lengths to reach the user for, or traded with while on trips away from home. A few shinies, a lot of stardust, and quite a bit of rare candy was sacrificed to achieve this as well. It also helps when you have access to major city centers in your home state with good spawns (Urban Poke Privilege), and get the chance to travel south where certain regionals can be found in the USA. The only oddity I can think of to mention is that I traded for pre-evolved Simipour and Simisage separately to save on Unova stones (this is why my Pansage is lucky while my Simisage is not.) I only have received 2 so far and used them on Simisear and Chandelure myself.
