This was easily the hardest animation I've ever put together. Akatsuki and Hibiki look lovely in it though!
I do not exaggerate when I say this, but I literally spent 3 weeks putting this thing together. About half of that time was spent trying to get the dress physics to work right. Due to how this animation was set up (there are a lot of teleporting portions; it is hard to explain), in addition to a lot of other issues, Hibiki kept stepping on the hem of her dress, causing a ton of issues. My only solution was to make multiple copies of her skirt and have them vanish and appear at various points, hiding it with the camera cuts.
Add in how the animation has a lot of "teleports" involved and I had to make multiple copies of Akatsuki and Hibiki just to make sure the physics didn't go crazy. As a result, there are actually 3 copies of Akatsuki, 3 copies of Hibiki, and 6 total skirts among all of the Hibiki models that vanish and appear at different points.
I need a nap.
