It's time once again to get all four of our favorite destroyers together to perform a dance for us! They were all too eager to step up to the plate!
Something I spent a lot of time with on this motion was the issue of twist bones. Namely, the original motion didn't use them. This caused a lot of issues with their elbows and wrists. When it's minor, I usually just correct the motion a little. However, this animation was a lot of visible bad twists. So I set up a system where I made a duplicate skeleton for the girls with the normal motion, then I had the "main" skeleton have arms built with an IK setup that pointed to where their partner is, with restrictions on how they should bend. This worked great... for the elbows. As you can see in some areas, the wrists didn't quite work properly. I'll have to refine this in the future.
Another thing I did that is somewhat new is I made the scene myself. It's a pretty simple scene admittedly, but it's always interesting to see how far I've come. Where once it would take me an hour or more to make this simple scene. Now it takes me no more than 30 minutes.
