I'm a scrub when it comes to this game, but it's a game that i love. And since I'm a scrub I have a hard time against characters like Nina, Eddy, Anna, Eliza, Kuma, and so on. But in the eyes of a pro, those characters are garbage and needs buffs. But buffing those characters for normal mortals like us will ruin the game for the casual audience. So I understand that it's rly hard for the balancing team to make everyone happy. I main Kazuya, and their buffs won't help a scrub like me that much, since I can only do normal god fists on a ps4 pad, and never electrics. Kazuya don't have many moves or mixups in his arsenal, so in hope they give him more in Tekken 8.

I'm torn between whether I think the balance team just doesn't understand their game (or maybe the data they collect; basic usage/winrate data can have severe biases) or whether balance is no longer the goal (if it ever was with T7). Murray's Twitter posts are either a blatant display of ignorance or some kind of weird masochistic performance art. How much involvement does Murray, or Harada previously, even have with the balance team anyway?

Either way, letting go of our notions about how the game should be run is probably for the best. I'm glad that this channel will be here to talk about the cool, fun stuff. None of us need any more sources of anxiety and negativity right now. Thanks and keep it up, Frame 🙂

I think that will work sometimes, but there are going to be times when you will want to or have to talk about balance and such but maybe just not all the time ya know.
