As a person who also has played since 1...I have been struggling with not enjoying this game as well. Obviously I'm no high level player, but when you spend a good chunk of your life learning a game that allowed you to play how you wanted (to a reasonable degree) and then to be forced to play in a style that is uncomfortable, new move patterns that erases the muscle memory you've built up, and systems that override your knowledge, and skills advantages...bro it's tough to enjoy.

Why the f**k should anyone care about Knee's opinion about a video game they spent their money on? Seriously asking. You gonna let a person affect how you feel about a video game? If you're trying to validate feelings you already had fine, but it seems people are turning the other cheek because of what someone else said. Help me out here...

I'm much more a spectator than a player and I have to say T8 hasn't been unfun to watch but the heat stuff is honestly just annoying more than anything else. Combos are now EVEN LONGER with the whole tailfips, heatbursts, screws, wall blasts, floor blasts, breaks, etc. It just feels like half the game is combo exhibition and the other half is free 50/50s from braindead buttons.

It's of course still tekken underneath all of that but I feel the game has truly strayed from what I fell in love with in 2013 with Tag 2 and T6,

I don't have T8 but T7 (don't have a system to play 8 on) and I play Leo, I go to locals and get destroyed by people who can't spend 1 sec without pressing buttons, I play defensively with Leo and I just get caught in endless vortexes and die. Yeah, not that fun. It's the same with SF6 but not to this extent.
