I sat down w fashion designer Elena Velez, whose work has been exhibited in Teen Vogue 2019's Generation Next. She studied fashion design at Parsons School of Design in Paris and has a graduate diploma from Central Saint Martins in London. She's spent extensive time in New York as well.
We discussed Elena's dream of being a fashion designer from a young age becoming actualized, collections and current projects, her historic-metalsmith approach to design, dressing celebrities (Charli XCX, Halsey & Ariana Grande to name a few), and places we'd like to visit in the world.
