Jesus, today we remember your death on the Cross and we celebrate the victory that you won three days later. Thank you for the gift os Salvation. This Easter, remind us just how much we need You. Help us see Your grace. Thank You for teaching us that the grave is only a journey into the presence of God.
May we remember to give out the grace and forgiveness that you have freely given us. May we always give thanks for your sacrificial love. May the hope of your resurrection never leave our hearts. May the truth in your word guide our journeys and may the joy of your kingdom fill our homes.
For if we have been united with him in a death like his, we will certainly also be united with him in a resurrection like his. For we know that our old self was crucified with him so that the body ruled by sin might be done away with, that we should no longer be slaves to sin. (Romans 6:5-6)
