Everyone is pumped for this reboot but this guy has to cry like a bitch. Just don’t play it then and find a different game to nut all over. This is business and like you said, nostalgia sells.

I think one of the biggest things that I haven't heard people talk about is the fact that IW doesn't think they are good enough writers to create new characters.

I won't lie- I don't mind the MW title- it makes sense seeing as the only other option for a modern combat game would be a stupid verb, adverb, or weird name like Assassin's Creed did.

They are relying on iconic characters to carry the story, but if the story was actually good, and they were half decent at writing then we shouldn't need Captain Price 2.0 to make the game good.

I look forward to seeing how this game plays out, but in general it just seems like this is a red flag and that the game's edginess and nostalgia factor are the only things that will carry it.

Not gonna lie, your uninspiring social commentary and weird introductions make it hard to take any of your opinions seriously. While I understand your skepticism involving the studio riding on the coattails of a previously revolutionary game, you don’t really make any mention of the new features revealed that make the game more than simply a rehash of its predecessors. Overhauled engine, the gameplay showcased from the missions that everyone is talking about, the multiplayer involving no season pass and free DLC, the campaign’s removal of friendly fire ending your games (replaced with a rating system for each mission based on collateral damage), absolutely none of it is mentioned. All you talk about is the marketing, which means absolutely nothing if the game itself delivers.

4:13 Bombing innocent villages during the mission in Sierra Leone with Price and Soap? Yeah, when exactly did that happen, because I didn’t see any collateral damage in that sequence. About as pitiful of a claim as your idea of PUBG as a “barebones tactical shooter.”

4:19 was the best part of your video. Your concerns are actually legitimate with CoD’s selling point for its brutal campaign, as IW has mentioned that the missions they showcased in that closed session were not even the most controversial parts of the game. Is this game going to be sold out of shock value alone, or will it actually provide meaningful commentary and insight into the cost of war apart from simply not sugarcoating it? The E3 showcase may hopefully answer that.
