[FEH] Summoner Duels S: Walk-through (Tier 17)

Welcome to Fire Emblem Heroes. This is Summoner Duels S! Team 火 assemble!

My personal best week ever. Let's discuss. First video I've made in SDS.

Notes on the mode:
- Scoring: 2 points per KO. 3 for captain. 2 for having two more units in the center at end of turn. Most points win.
- Draws are possible. I think I've had two ever.
- In my opinion this is the hardest mode in the game. Two reasons: 1) The complexity. You need to make four synergistic teams. Bonus units being thrown into the mix make this harder... 2) This mode is whale central. The Power of Money is strong.

Suggestions for success:
- Do NOT play early on day 1. At the very least peak Japanese time (8p-1a). This was the first week I've taken this advice and went 10-3. By far my best ever. Avoid the good players and whales. To advance in tiers you need every advantage you can get.
- You need good, varied units. This is an end game mode. Heavy investment is suggested.
- That said, I don't play that way. I try to use budget, basic deployments. I rely normally on one team I feel strong about, and use other teams as smoke screens (meta units that people hate).
- Highly suggest playing normal Summoner Duels to practice. Especially for the map in play. This week's map I felt was pretty brutal. Getting all five units in the zone is pretty hard. But that really helped me win this week.
- The Captain skills are critical. Sometimes there's skills that invalidate all bonuses, which completely destroy my Eliwood teams. Oh ho... not this week though! Ideally you should build teams that synergize around those skills.
- If your core team doesn't have a bonus unit, be careful about dropping rank on last fight. This happened to me this week. I didn't fight again because if I lost it would drop me down.

Notes on losses:
- Seior got baited and I had nothing else to stop the near save...
- Guidance 4 trap I didn't see...
- Byleth one shoting Hector and preventing the heal... ugh....

How have you been doing? Let me know in you comments below. Some things I'm shaky on:
- Determining who goes first: I thought I understood, but I routinely get confused as to why this changes. What am I missing?
- Technically you can get wiped and still win on points. Do you automatically lose if you lose all units? I don't know.
- Point loss on defeat. I thought in previous losses, even with a bonus unit you lose points. I think it's based on the tier rank? Example: You're tier 15 and lose to a tier 10. I have no idea how points are calculated.

Summary:
- 10-3. Reached Diamond rank, got my bronze trophy. I has excite.
- Guys I'm freaking rank 500? How is this possible... Does truly no one play this mode?! I'm shocked...
