FEH Channel BINGO (Aug 2023) - Part 1

Doing Bingo! This is part 1 for the month, so the board will be carried over when we get the 2nd part in the middle of August.

Honestly I didn't have much to say about this FEH channel. Not very exciting but not disappointing either.

Every August seasonal we stray further and further from the light of Naga/Mila/Sothis/ect.

Can't believe it took them almost seven years for a maid banner...and not a Fates character in sight.

I’ll be first to admit, the inclusion of Ferdinand with his new voice actor on this banner feels a little weird. Nothing against Ricco Fajardo, I just feel like it’s the worst of both worlds from the CYL voting: those who didn’t vote for him because it was “too soon” to recast still got that recasting, while those who voted for him in tribute to Billy Kametz don’t get the Super Special Alt.

But other than that, I really liked what we got on this FEH Channel. I’m especially excited to try and get some older seasonal units I don’t have, and free Forma are always nice.

I see your CYL squares on the Bingo board, and I’d like to add one of my own: Brave Robin tips the scales with the Levin Sword.

Think about it: Corrin can either be a staff unit for Hoshido or yet another dragon unit of any color, Soren can use a tome of any color (likely a green one for Wind), and Gullveig can step on me—I mean easily fill out any color as either a tome or beast unit. But we’ve only ever seen tome Robin, besides the Grimas and Summer F!Robin. The Levin Sword is basically synonymous with them thanks to Smash Bros, and the perfect time to introduce it would be with either a Legendary or a Brave alt, or maybe a Rearmed at this point. But we’ve already gotten Rearmed and Legendary Robin, as well as two rearmed swords. So why not add it now, with effects like Distant Counter and “targets lower of foe’s defenses?” Seems like a perfect fit
