  I dismissed doing Quick Riposte builds when I saw the BK's speed was so high. Granted, 34 speed isn't fast at the top of the PvP pyramid, but I didn't see a need to make one.
  SB+QR w/ Black Luna is a wonderful build. It gets a DPT of 9-4|17-9. That is A LOT of kills on defense. However, that happens once. Both of my other builds, even the LaD one, are more sustainable prior to receiving support. And with a simple goad or ward on the LaD build in particular, the DPT goes up. Not to 17, but up.
  In addition to my personal bias against QR and for LaD - lol - I prefer active player phase units more, and it was my thought that many other players would, too.
  SB+QR is a very viable build -- look at that DPT! The flexibility in who you block is incredible -- but you are going to get more than one kill in high-tier PvP with a different build. You can heal BK to let him do it again, but unless the healing is "free" from breath of life or Linde's aura, you are spending 2 units to kill 2 units, which isn't anything special.
  To counter-point some of what I said, armor units are slow, and they will tend to get initiated on more often then they will get to initiate. In PvE, SB+QR will munch on enemies like pac-man on a power pill. In PvP, you can pick any* non-blue unit to block and it'll die. But some of the losses BK gets from this build arn't ones I was willing to live with, and I didn't want to make anyone else live with them either.

  Fair enough, but I think you're underestimating the ability of black knight to be able to use quick riposte more than once in a match. Assuming he has QR 3 and hp +3, an attacker will need to deal 16 damage to knock him out of range. If you have some kind of hone speed support for him, black knight will rarely be doubled, so this 16 damage will probably have to be dealt in 1 hit. A red sword will need 55 attack, which will rarely be seen on units other than Ike and LnD Ryoma, a lance unit will need 46 attack, and an axe unit will have no chance in hell. If you play your cards right, as most teams will probably have a unit he can kill on enemy phase that won't bring him out of QR range, this is probably at least 2 kills a match. Even if he is knocked out of range, you can always use an ardent sacrifice+desperation sweeper to heal him back into it in most situations. In this case, a sword unit would need (good luck) 65 attack to deal the 26 damage necessary to knock him out of range, and a lance unit would need a respectable 54, which most don't reach. If you give him S rank summoner support, which is actually a really good idea because he benefits from all of the stats gained from it, these numbers are skewed even more in his favor, allowing him to take little enough from unbuffed green mages to be healed back into QR range. And even if he isn't in range, he will still be an effective counter to most greens.

  I didn't account for that margin when I first posted, but I did a quick look and found that *55* of the units that hurt BK and leave him alive will knock him below that threshold. Since you wouldn't block blue w/o good reason, removing that brings it to *32*. Now, 30 of those guys die to BK, so if we whittle that down more, you're *left with* Brave Lyn (which you wouldn't block intentionally) and Ike (which would be funny to kill w/ BK, but you probably arn't aiming for it). Both of those are in the top 10 units brought to PvP as of writing, though, so you will see them often.
  
  So yea, I am underselling it. But Brave Lyn and Ike have me paranoid.

  LOL - he is a beast. But his DEF isn't tthhaatt good, it's easy to bait him into attacking you instead (not good for the LaD build, tho), and his res is almost not on the chart. It isn't that bad.

  Life and Death makes a unit more aggressive. This form of BK is intended to be player phase, with Vantage being a safety net for him. Using LaD, Black Knight can answer every non-blue S-rank threat, and has a wonderful match-up against practically any unit, including many blue units. Also, since BK's defense and resistance are low for an armor unit, giving him LaD doesn't make your RES any worse than it is, still lets him have a good DEF, and both are easily patched up by the Ward Armor many Armor Emblem players use. If in a mixed team, Drive and Hone skills tend to be for Atk and Spd, so he'll double-down on what he's getting good at.
  
  If you want to have a red companion to Effie (yes, brave sword makes this build "better", but no one in their right mind will get rid of a distant counter weapon) on the front line, this is a great option. If you need him to be a red variant of Hector, however, this build is terrible.

Would Steady Stance/Breath withe the Distant Defense seal be good? I thought it'd be an interesting build, also Quick Riposte or Vantage?

  +OwO in PvP, I don't see distant def 1 helping him, but in pve every hp you save is valuable.
  
  I'm a huge fan of vantage over qr, and my reasons for that will show in Mondays video about the Black Knights best builds analysis. But it depends on if charging his special for one huge hit is more important or not. BK is not a red Hector and can endure like he does.

Anyway I got a 4 star Effie(+att -hp).Already got a 5 star Effie(+att -spd).Shall I merge or give Wary fighter to BK?Also I forget to mention I have a (+att -res) hector.I think hector does better with Vintage.What should I do?

  Wary Fighter isn't good for Black Knight. He has good speed, so he doesn't get doubled by that many units. Additionally, wary fighter doesn't prevent him from being knocked out by blue mages, which are his biggest threat. You talked about Vantage on Hector, but vantage on Black Knight would be wonderful. If you are keeping steady stance for his A slot, though, you might want to consider Quick Riposte instead. So just merge your effie into your other for some SP. Or give it to Sheena, she does well with Wary Fighter.
  
  Hector will do well w/ Vantage. Really, anyone with a distant and close counter will do well with vantage. There might be better options, but if there are Vantage will be the 2nd best. For Hector, only other B slot I'd consider would be a Seal skill to ensure the enemy pays for hitting Hector... but my Hector has Vantage and hasn't ever switched out 😀

  +Brachy keep RAGING that kit will have a lot of endurance. Will kill a lot of vanilla units just by defending alone. I wouldn't get rid of a good boey myself, but otherwise if you want to have him to be a tough distant counter user, that'll do well for you. He won't kill quickly, obviously, though.

I can totally see why black knight is s+ tier:) without his help, I would have never gotten the clarrise reward from missions and quest:0 glad I used all the crystals I have lol
