The overzealous 'Blue Lawful Knight' may be a match for the 'Dark Warrior' of Space Shinkageryu, but not the 'Sword Saint' of Yagyu Shinkageryu.
Soloing this stage is mostly a matter of raw firepower, the NP and invincibility-pierce combination upon reaching 50% HP mark in bar 2 does not give much room in the way of creative tactics (though the next upload will show one way to deal with it via an unusual MC option).
Yagyu's damage is dealt in bursts and on 450% powermod he can burst down over 1 million damage fully buffed against MHXX's second bar, so the logical approach is to wait in bar 1 for his steroids to be back on cooldown. It is possible to break bar 1 earlier, but there is no merit in doing this.
Removing his taunt status baits MHXX to cast it, as her taunt skill takes precedence over other actions this serves to both crowd out her invincibility skill and reduce the number of enemy attacks to conserve health. Manipulating MHXX's taunt actions is the closest thing to subtleness in soloing this otherwise one-dimensional stage.
