Abyssal Warlock just got buffed, but did it get buffed too much? The new interactions with School Teacher, the increased speed of the deck, and a weaker meta all made it feel much stronger.

It’s broken. The curses cost too much to play and they still do their initial damage. The clearing power of the deck means that your opponent can’t build any board advantage. Absolutely busted.

Here is my take, this deck this expansion is my most played deck. I have played it before nerf and still playing it. Problem with this deck is ITS INCREDIBLY EASY TO COUNTER. You just hold your hand at 10 cards and burn whatever u draw. This curse deck has not any real board threats to make your opponent play like 3-4 cards to clear. Whenever i face a curse deck i just dont do anything and win lol. You cant be cursed if ur at full hand. Like this deck is never gonna be a top deck.

Not sure I'd like curses to be strong. It's a really frustrating deck to play against.

Naga mage seems to counter this the best due to the mana refresh and the large hand size factor. Just theorizing at least

Men 2-3 with them on my climb to legend. Using Big Beast Hunter, and this deck is slacking. Anything that's remotely sticky can burst them down quicker than they can curse you to death.

Because of the abyssal curses, it makes the "control" aspect of warlock crippled. No heals or efficient enough board clears.

Hi had strange interaction when playing ther queen in this deck. After choosing ther Ring Of Tides gift , when it in your hand and you play out one of your opponents Cures , the Ring of Tide becomes a curse But if you leave it as a curse till next turn it plays out of your hand like it's your opponents curse

Same as if you play your opponents curse on your turn and then go play the changed Ring Of Tide . Game does not giver your opponent a cures but it thinks your play another one of your opponents curse

So you lose out on ther value of ther gift

gooooooood. I run a warlock quest control deck and this abyssal stuff is 100% countered by my deck. Everytime I play one I don't even have to spend my own mana to complete the quest it's great.
