Season 24 is dropping pretty soon, so I wanted to talk about what I think are gonna be the best heroes to play for that competitive season!

I wanted to talk more about my thought process when picking Pharah. I said Hitscan heroes will thrive in Season 24, which they will. However, for the sake of this video, I didn't want to list another hitscan hero when the best to play is Ashe. Whereas Pharah may be counterproductive since Ashe will more likely be played. However, with a Pharmercy combo, even with an Ashe, Pharah can outlive the damage. It also allows for a frustrating composition, since Roadhog is on the ground, and Pharah is in the sky, causing people to get distracted with one or the other. Hope this helps the explanation!

  I think Sombra would be a better choice for the 2nd DPS.
  
  1. She can stop hog using hook with hack
  2. She can stop hog using heals if he gets hooked by your hog = ez kill 😉
  3. She can stop Zarya using her bubbles with hack or destroy them with EMP
  4. She could be the best hero to pressure Ashe because she can hack her first so she can't coach gun away and then just kill her. Sombra definitely has the mobility options to access any area where Ashe would set up. Same applies with Widow and her grapple
  5. She is arguably one of the best counters to Pharmercy, especially at lower ranks where players will struggle to get consistent high burst damage to kill them. Hack will stop Mercy being able to accompany Pharah in the air so Pharah has to chose between playing lower to the ground and being less mobile or play without a mercy which is much easier to deal with.
  
  For supports, whilst Mercy is lining up better in the new meta than she did before, I'd say Ana would provide more utility.
  
  For Ana: Nade and sleep are built to be the perfect counter to hog at the moment and work extremely well in conjunction with your own hog hook and anti combined with grav from Zarya is a free team fight win with just a single ult.
  
  Whilst Mercy has res, if somebody is hooked, unless your tanks push up and make the space to safely res the hooked player, Mercy doesnt provide strong anti-hog utility.
  
  Also, given the recent Ashe nerfs, even with a Mercy damage boost, she can no longer 1-shot from the distances she could do before, which would require Ashe to play closer to the fight, losing the benefit of the distance that you emphasised was so important to Ashe's viability. I still agree that Ashe is one of the strongest DPS picks, if not the strongest, but it would be through good use of dynamite and good accuracy, and she can't go as uncontested by playing far back as she could do before.

  Mercy is a good pick because her damage boost ashe can 1 shot with damage boost and i think roadhog can one shot brig reaper and bastion with dmg boost which is great because it can tear bunker comp which i hate as a mercy main
