Okay so I've been taking some notes throughout this, and here are the good and bad stuff in a TL;DR:
*Bad:* Sensitivity too low, too passive playstyle, lack of target priority, too many wasted shots, too much time spent in the front line, and lastly a poor distance of engagements.
*Good:* great patience, some decent melee use, respects opponents' potential for killing you with burst dmg, and good blink management.

If you want to read more, here's an in-depth analysis of each point, and *what you can change to improve:*

1. Sensitivity: Your sensitivity is simply too low, and it is hindering you from using Tracer in an agile and effective way. I would advice that you try to increase your sensitivity by 25%, to a point where you can easily make a 180 degree turn, as that's generally the minimum movement you want to do with Tracer, as it allows for quick 180 blinks to shoot the enemy before they can shoot you. In these clips you are even struggling with tracking enemies that are right in front of you - not because of your aim ability, but simply because your inputs arrive so slowly with your low sensitivity. Once you get higher than Bronze, players will start to move more rapidly and in unpredictable manners, and it will be too difficult for you to quickly acquire your targets in time to shoot them with such a low sensitivity on Tracer, where you don't have the luxury of shooting from afar.

2. Too passive: Your patience is good, but don't let it turn into passiveness. In general, you always wait for the enemy to come to you, rather than the other way around. Just because the enemy isn't strictly on the point and fighting, doesn't mean you can't engage with them or at the very least scout the map for information, which can tell you about where the enemy is going, where their healers are, etc - so that you can better plan your own engages before the fight breaks out and your team risks losing someone before you can have impact. My advice here is to simply try and avoid the objective point at all times, unless you see an easy target. By simply avoiding the objective, it forces your brain to think of other things to do than standing guard and waiting, and you will naturally start to look for opportunities without even trying (as long as you don't stand behind the objective on your team's side of course).

3. Target priority: You generally have the idea that supports are good to take out, but you need to double down on that. Don't waste your time on tanks unless you are specifically trying to farm your ultimate. Even then, I would not worry about ultimate farming until you get at least solidly into silver and low gold. For now, just set your mind to ALWAYS look for the enemy supports, and harass them as much as possible - and go in for kills if you see an opportunity for it. You are often the only player on your team who can bypass the enemy frontline entirely, so it's your job to always target the healers, and make them focus on YOU instead of helping their tanks. If their tanks have no support, your front line will win more often than not - even if you don't get kills. Enemy dps should only be a fight you take, if you see them use their abilities (like McCree using his flashbang, or Ashe using her dynamite, etc). Otherwise they are second priority.

4. Too many wasted shots: This partly comes back to the sensitivity issue. You know you want to engage on a target so you start shooting, but your sensitivity is so low that once you manage to acquire the target, you have already burned through half of your magazine. Try to be a bit more patient with your shots, first acquire the target, then shoot. You don't have to kill the enemy the milisecond you see them, what matters is that once you start shooting, you actually have enough bullets left to be a threat to them. It's also fine to take pauses when shooting if you find it hard tracking them, you don't have to mash the m1 button until you gotta reload. Especially with Tracer it's important to be efficient, because you burn your mag so fast, it's often better in your position to take calculated burst shots, rather than a full spray from the moment you see the enemy. I have to stress again, that some of this might even improve simply by increasing your sensitivity, so play around with these two parameters of higher sens, and more patience with your shots -until you find something that works. Even looking at your in-game accuracy stats can quite easily tell you if you're improving in this aspect or not, because right now I'd wager your average accuracy stats are in sub 20%.

5. Too much time spent in the front line: This is also shared with your target priority and passive playstyle. Most of the time, you simply just exist on the map, and your goal only arises once the enemy frontline is walking right at you. Tracer has zero benefits of being in the frontline shooting shields and brawling tanks. WIth your recall ability, you can stay alive on big flanks without problem, surviving on health packs rather than your team's support. You need to really take advantage of this set of abilities Tracer offers, and never be in the front line. Always look for flanks, always try and see where the opponent is and then try to get around them BEFORE they start fighting with your team. You don't always have to fight the enemy team, but you always have to be active and positioning yourself on the map in ways that let you engage the enemy backline, before every single fight breaks out.

6. Poor engagement distance: This is something that is common especially with new Tracer players, and it's the distance at which you take your fights. You're often either too far away, or way too close to the opponent, while fighting. When you're too far, your bullet spread and damage drop off means you do almost nothing, and when you're too close it's much more difficult tracking the enemy, especially with your low sensitivity. The optimal distance of engages is roughly one blink away from the opponent. It means you're in your most effective damage range, secondly with one blink it allows you an easy escape if you take an unexpected amount of damage, and lastly it means you always have the option of blinking close to the enemy and melee'ing them when they're very low on hp. A lot of Tracer's kill potential comes from hitting the enemy unexpectedly and bursting them down quickly, and the melee offers a decent portion of that burst potential that is vital to any Tracer player. Even if it doesn't kill, the melee at the end can be the factor that causes the enemy to use an ability of their own (ana nade, moira fade, etc), which gives you more options in return to either keep fighting, or disengage.

My last point is, that you try to work on two of these aspects at a time, until you get proficient at them. Right now, I'd say focus on the aim mechanics (to help with shooting and blink accuracy, and awareness). Once you get proficient on this, try two other aspects like staying off the objective point, and only focusing supports at all times, even when you can't see them and there's an enemy reinhardt in front of you (ignore the reinhardt and go look for the supports, unless you know they're dead already). Take a few steps at a time, feel the improvement, and over time you will climb out of bronze no doubt.

  @Ladnarim good idea 🙂 I think the 3 core aspects that will easily get you out of Bronze, is the sensitivity, a bit more patience with aim, and always focusing enemy supports while staying off the objective (unless the supports are on the objective). Those 3 elements alone can easily get you into high silver or possibly gold 🙂

Started playing OW 2 months ago with friends started in platinum (COD aim) then I went down to gold cuz i didn’t understand the game and I started watching stylosa vids and now I’m in high diamond in Tank and Healer and Master in DPS and I think it’s all due to Stylosas vids. Love the content, awesome stuff.
