Armor up, damage down & now the Giga-Rein buffs from a few patches ago are taking over the Tank category. Supports are flexible with a variety of plays to make & thanks to Reaper's rework, Echo & Ball Nerfs and the Armor buffs the concept of Main Tanking is meta again in Overwatch gameplay. DPS need to either brawl aggressively or get picks from afar, there may be low enough defenses to leave an opening for either playstyle, but if you can't get elims fast enough the enemy Rein may run your team over before you set up! A very "Overwatch" meta where a lot of gamesense heroes with big plays to make while there's still FPS pop-offs to carry, though checked by the ease of Rush. Due to the execution of these strategies, the ranked meta may vary based on the playerbase's competency in the comp variations, but the heroes themselves are fairly well balanced currently with only a few outlier poor performers.
