ive always hated junk for the fact that he just spams in random directions and gets rewarded. the character can literally walk up to you press 3 buttons any you die in a second. now they just decided to make him have to aim less

There is no appeasing pros while letting a normal player have the same/good experience. They already play a patch behind most of the time, just put them in a different balance state than the rest of the game.

Junkrat has been my main since season 3. Over the years he has had some ups, but mostly downs. Granted, he has always been fun to play, and actually useable in a lot more ways than people give him credit for. Most overwatch players just lack imagination. That being said...the way they buff and nerf Junkrat is wack. They ALWAYS make him basically unstoppable in the right hands in lower ranks, but can never let him be as good in higher ranks as their precious Tracer/Genji/Widowmaker/etc...It always happens anytime Junkrat happens to be strong everyone complains simply because in their minds Junkrat isnt supposed to be strong, and only tracer, genji, etc...are supposed to be good in every situation. They should probably think about getting someone that really knows the character inside and out, like Chro, to help balance him for all ranks. He desperately needs a skill cap buff...not beachball sized projectiles.

I just feel that buffing hit boxes, making them bigger, is an artificial way to boost up the pick-up rate of a hero, as for Junky in particular. The minute you mess with hitboxes, it just creates disbalance for so few returns. You think you create a lot of bang for the bucks, but you're not. Bigger hitboxes doesnt encourage and teach better aiming, simply put. Now people will tell me that Junky isnt an aim-based hero, which is true in the fundamental way, but you still need to track targets in the slightest. You cant avoid the splash damage of his projectile, you cant take that away of course and this is why i dont get bigger hitboxes for him... He's a deterrent to enemy positioning, he's a zone-interdiction hero. You dont need hitboxes, he's disrupting enough like that. I dont get Blizzard sometimes. Think this through way better than this guys.

Finally Freedo's voice is reaching for us, and I have to come out and say something, because the vocal community of this game are like "junkrat and pharah mercy are just bad" when us, the silent community, reach for the alt+f4 keys whenever we get those on the enemy team. Apparently everybody is GM in this game 🙂 but I'm not, I don't have GM aim or mindset, and neither do my teammates.

So when we go against, junk or pharah/mercy and my tanks keep running main, I have a sym OTP and I'm the only one flexing on hitscan to try and hita flying hero with personnal pocket and that does a billion damage to my team, I'm like "Why am I playing this? How is this allowed?" and then I stop playing. That is the "Quit moment" for most of your playerbase Blizzard. If you keep trying to make pharah/mercy and junkrat viable at high level, it means they're META at lower tiers.

Every game I get a diamond border mercy duoing with a brand new account pharah, and ultimately, this is the reason why I stopped playing this game, and I don't think ow2 will resolve this particular issue, it's actually looking like it's gonna get worse. And I feel like I'm talking for the silent majority here, because I sure don't comment on youtube, twitter or anything really, I just enjoy the game and log out when it stops being fun, and it stops being fun the moment I go against pharah/mercy. I know this was supposed to be about junkrat, but I'm still amazed that pharah/mercy is still allowed as is.
