Balance is the best state since OW1, but the matches are ass with MANY people throwing or just leaving the game, HUGE team disparity still happening in matchmaking, its so full of dps players filling in for the support roles that i stopped queuing for Tank because they dont really care about team fights just their KDR and so im just playing support for the most part now.
Also my friend that played OW with me because he probably lost his interest much earlier because of these issues and now im solo queuing which makes it even worse lol.
Other than that no yeah the game's great we're all happy :')

The game just feels dead man. There is nothing going on. Other than new skins. The events are so lack lustre. Still in my opinion 5v5 is a definite downgrade from 6v6. And we get communicated, just for the sake of communication; to appease the community. There’s nothing going on with this game. There’s no spark anymore.

Idk if this is a byproduct of ranked queue being better or something, but quick play has been the most unfun it has ever been recently. I haven't seen anybody else talking about it, which makes me think it may just be me, but for being the "for fun" game mode it hasn't been very fun. Leavers, afks, toxic players, people bitching all game about their team. I recently had an encounter with someone who got pissed on the first round of oasis and then proceeded to not play the game nor did he leave the game as to not lose xp. Holding my team hostage until we lost. There's more toxicity in quick play than ranked somehow and it's just not fun.

I have been enjoying ranked tho. Hit my all time high and plan to grind further.

Bro there are players stuck in bronze and it’s some sort of stupid glitch but I’ve yet to see it recognized.. yet foolish people sit and say they’re pleased with the state of the game.

the comment on the matchmaker being better is horseshit in my experience, it is objectively worse than what it is last season and is much more blatant in how it is forcing a 50/50 winrate. Snipers still ruin the game, sojourn and widow are still degenerate, and the game is a net negative from where it was season 1 of ow2. I uninstalled and do not see myself coming back until I have it on good authority that the game is actually fixed because a game still being this dysfunctional 6 months into its lifespan while tripling its dev team is inexcusable. They can be as communicative as possible, but it doesn't change the fact that key issues somehow always manage to dodge their patches, and if they don't dodge the patch they are exasperated.
