feel like ur take on lifeweaver is misunderstanding his power a bit. I think hes best at poke since he can set up his team for highgroiund, off angles, and same as mercy rez- pull people out if they are losing a 1v1 so they can try again

idk why im typing this, just really bored, didnt even watch video. i play open queue and let me explain to you the meta and best comps as a gm player. open queue meta is typically 3 tank on attack and 2 tank, 1 dps on def. i for one think this is super fun to play, much more fun than role queue which is so unbearably boring some matches, p much afk all game. typically tho in open queue, ppl think that since they're masters or gm in role, that they are obligated to play dps and only dps and end up feeding ults and letting the team get rolled. i have so much fun filling but typically i play whatever i want and whatever is going to win us the game. ofc you counterpick but thats really hard to do in open queue without throwing. some dps heroes are throw picks against 3 tank, and some work really well. here are some non obvious counterpicks and metas ive learned in my time on role queue and quick play classic.got to not be afraid to try unorthodox comps and lose. -4 dps 1 mercy is great comp - genji is throwing vs 3 tanks, can only play him against squishies -triple support is viable with healers like zen lucio and mercy, need to play one of the damage dealing supports like moira, bap, ana.- solo support with multiple tanks is very good if you are utilizing moira, kiriko, or perhaps baptiste. -if you must play dps against triple tank, the best heroes are listed in order: torb, pharah, bastion, soldier, sombra, echo, sym, reaper, sojourn, junkrat, tracer, hanzo with the only viable dps rly being torb, and soldier with highground defense. here is the best comp ever, if there is no counterpicks and everyone is gm: ball, zarya, dva, sombra, moira, full braindead dive quite unstoppable if congruent, will stomp every single comp match if played constistantly with stack. if you are a competent player who likes to fill, play tank, counter pick, pick based on map, have strong desire to win, know when a match is lost and dont mind afking, i highly recommend you play open queue it is so much more fun. i honestly think overwatch is unbearable bc of the amount of dogshit teamates i personally get matched with, and the smurfs and stacks that i always go against. ive played in tourneys before and sure, in a team setting, role queue i dont mind, but for public competitive matches, fuck you i dont give a fuck if i swap off healer and go counter pick and have my team complain and blame me for throwing the match, if i know a game is lost anyway, im gonna be enjoying my time playing a hero that can actually do something agains ttheir comp, even if it means leaving my team in the dust. i really think the majority of role queue players are braindead and only know and will commit to one role. only upper echelon ow players will understand what i am talking about with the amount of dogshit terrible oblivious and pitifully conceited players that i get every day that blame everything else but themselves, not pr0jection just fax
