Honestly I think it should be normalised for the devs to go back on previous changes. Sometimes a change could sound reasonable but ends up being very bad, and the devs shouldn't fear taking it out of the game and appear as unsure or incompetent.
I just hope they don't do it every season so we would end up with a handful of heroes getting overtuned for 1 season and then just reverted back the next one. I hope they'd also go back on some reworks especially the ones that "standardised" heroes and made them feel less unic. I'm mainly thinking of Sombra and Symmetra reworks which did meaningfully improved the heroes viability but made them way less unic and interesting as concepts. Symmetra's beam just being a regular old beam and Sombra's hack being barely a thing anymore really hinders these heroes unicness even if they improved on other aspects. I also fear the new Sombra rework, hope her tp isn't completely gone as it would kill the feel and skill expression of the character.

I think they should just show us the reworks instead of saying what there doing it gives way more feedback as a hog main I don't want another 5 months of being ass

If the game was 6 v 6 other aspects of the game could be more at a forefront then just change, revert change and so on. It’s almost like these characters weren’t meant for 5 v 5

I've been waiting so long for Roadhog rework that I honestly don't care about anything else discussed here.
Sure it's great to see that they rever the changes they see problematic at increased rate, but still, Experimental Card should make a return.

Can’t wait for them to nerf Sombra i to the ground again after couple weeks of her rework. So many cry babies crying about this hero its a joke.

im a genji main and i must say, hes been super hard to play this season and isnt fun. ive been waiting for a genji buff but still to no avail

i'm sorry man, but the "heroes being strong upon release to sell battle passes" (4:45) take is so old. It doesn't even make any sense. anyone that has played this game for at least a few months know that no hero stay the exact same as they do when released. So how does it sell battle passes? the hero is locked out of comp for a few weeks anyways, giving anyone ample time to earn the hero for free as well. it just is such a braindead opinion. No one is buying a battle pass solely based on how strong the hero is when released knowing it will be nerfed if it's OP. (or at least, if they are they must be new to online competitive games) besides, look at what happened with Lifeweaver. they released him in a nearly unplayable state (not just weak but super clunky) and it took 3 separate buffs to get him to where he is today, which is basically just okay. the only argument you can make for this is maybe it makes someone who was already planning on buying it anyway buy it a little bit sooner? but I really think it makes no sense that they would release the hero in an OP state to "sell passes" when anyone with a brain knows that all the OP heroes get nerfed into the ground a few weeks into their release. furthermore, they can all be earned for free with very minimal effort.
