For the record I don't think the Dev team does this on purpose but I do find value in at least discussing these things.

Totally agree. I honestly think they should wait on the PA combo finish on braver, and give it to almost every other weapon type first, and then give it to braver a little later.

The issue is that they tried to do role compression on Dual Blades and there is so much packed into your weapon action and PAs that it sometimes feels like your brain is in overdrive when playing it. Hopefully with the introduction of Photon Blade Protect and Counter Edge it can make the weapon more comfortable to use since you could effectively keep yourself from getting hit now.

I wish SEGA & Sonic Team guys would take more risks with the weapons since there's no PVP in the game they may as well jump the shark on the crazy weapon animations and their abilities- it's literally a sci-fi setting anything goes.

Agree 100% except, i would put Double Saber in the list as well.

The weapon is clunky, unresponsive due to a dozen animation locks, damage is backloaded on almost every PA, which causes to miss a lot of dps, and rely on Skyclinb second half or inerrupt Julien Dash 2nd half, and to top it off, whirlwind due stupidly low dps, which is counter intuitive to what Fi once was. I think the weapon needs not as much as the ones you mentioned, but isn't in a good place especially when it gets overshadowed by TD and Knuckles for bossing and Single target damage in general, and it can't fullfill it's purpose as a mobbing weapon properly either

It's all about perspective, I'm huge on using weapons that people deem weak or consider to be the worst weapon and through testing every weapon and maxing every class I've come to the realization that every weapon has it's perks and flaws. In Techter's case there photon blast is one of the best damaging in the game not to mention they get it slightly faster then everyone else due to their skill tree. Wand actually does more damage then people realize and making it a multiweapon with talis fixes it's issue with pp recovery from a distance when you need to attack an enemy from far and now they will get the 4th attack which will definitely help the wand see more usage. When soloing they have shifta and deband to boost some stats which also helps teammates clear faster regardless of a boss or pse burst. Partisans are actually really strong and many may not agree but i have tested damages in speed runs and partisans out damages every weapon hunters have, some may say it doesn't have a damage counter but it doesn't need it becuase of the avenger ability which make them even better. I used to main sword with hunter but switched after I realized I wasn't really giving the spear a fair chance especially when I was using only Thrusting Javeline for damage. I started damage testing Cleaving Scythe and realized this is a hidden gem with some aoe included. I agree skill tree wise partisans need some more loving and rod are really strong and twin machine guns are slept on lol and Katanas will be top 3 after this update in my opinion ;). Sometimes we focus on the cons of weapon and classes but not the pros. I have revisited weapons I used in the beginning of ngs and had judged/deemed not worth it and came back and tested them again carefully months later and realized I was wrong about them. I'm sure 80% won't read all this but if you did thanks for reading even if you don't fully agree. Have fun regardless of weapon/class tiers and don't be afraid to switch your main weapon for a while you might end up liking something you never thought you would :).

  On Wands it just (To me) feels awkward to use. feels extremely stiff
