"Class identity" is an area where I feel NGS is lacking in terms of the world itself. If I’m going to take the time to hone my skills as a particular class, I want to feel invested in it within the world. I want to learn how the martial traditions of Halpha’s ARKS evolved over time. I want to know how each class came into using their weapons of choice. How are these traditions handed down across generations? I’ll use Techter as an example. I’d like to know more about how their “battle cleric” fighting style came into being? Who were some prominent techters throughout Halpha’s history? You would think that after 500+ years, there would be several prominent figures for each class who shaped their current fighting style.
